and wiring of the product
Room unit for control of a Corrigo running a
ventilation application
ED-RU-O is an external room unit primarily intended for control of an
air handling unit via a Corrigo controller running a ventilation ap-
plication. A Corrigo with 2 ports is required in order to use the unit.
The room unit is connected to port 2 and can be used together with
expansion units. The room unit can also be used together with EXO-
compact. This requires advanced knowledge of the EXO system.

Wiring
ED-RU-O is connected to the same supply voltage as the Corrigo control-
ler (G and G0). Communication takes place via EXOline and is connected
to port 2, A and B.

Configuration using E tool

The extended running time and permitted max./min. setpoint displace-
ment for the setpoint knob can only be set using E tool
"Temperature to show in ED-RUD" and "Button On/Off function" are only
valid for model ED-RU-D... models.
To read the temperature from the room unit sensor, "Temperature to
show in ED-RUD" should be set to "Room temp from the display sensor"
(default setting).
The On/Off button
When pressing the On/Off button for 10 s, the air handling unit will stop. At
the next scheduled start-up it will then start and run in mode AUTO.
A press of the button will start the unit, making it run at normal speed for
the duration set under "extended running" (factory setting 60 min.). There-
after, the unit will enter into auto mode.
The LED indicator on the button shows whether or not the unit is presently
running. As the unit is starting, it will take a few seconds for the indicator
to light up.
ED-RU-O
When the unit is in manual position and has been started from the
display of the Corrigo or using E tool
started or stopped via ED-RU-O.
The setpoint knob
Enables adjusting the setpoint up or down. The maximum permiss-

able adjustment of the setpoint is configurable using E tool

setting ± 3°C).
Depending on the control mode of the Corrigo, the setpoint knob will
adjust the actual setpoint. In control mode constant supply air control,
the supply air setpoint will be adjusted. In room cascade, the room
setpoint will be adjusted. If the control mode is extract air cascade,
the extract air setpoint will be adjusted.

This product conforms to the requirements of the EMC Direc-
tive 2004/108/EC through product standards EN 61000-6-1 and
EN 61000-6-3.
