Overview
10-1-1 Periodic Maintenance Inspections
It has been determined by engineering that your Voluson E8 / Voluson E6 system does not have any
high wear components that fail with use, therefore no Periodic Maintenance Inspections are mandatory.
However, some Customers Quality Assurance Programs may require additional tasks and/or
inspections at a different frequency than listed in this manual.
10-1-2 Purpose of this Chapter
This chapter describes Care & Maintenance on the Voluson E8 / Voluson E6 and its peripherals.
These procedures are intended to maintain the quality of the ultrasound systems performance.
Read this chapter completely and familiarize yourself with the procedures before performing a task.

Do not operate this system unless all board covers and frame panels are securely in place.
