Try increasing the integration time. Refer to
the Syngistix Software Guide on the
Syngistix Document Pack CD for details.
For high dissolved solids, try the GemCone
spray nebulizer.
Add 0.05% surfactant to your samples,
standards, and blanks.
Try running other samples with normal
characteristics to determine if the sample
matrix is really the problem.
The standard and blank may need to be
matrix-matched. Or, internal standardization
may be required.
Increase the Read Delay to flush the sample
introduction system completely. Increase the
rinse time if using an autosampler. Prepare
the rinse solution in the same acid matrix
used for the standards, samples, and blank.

Syngistix Document Pack CD for details.
Adjust as necessary. Also, check that you are
using the recommended settings for your
instrument.
