1-11. Version/Serial Number Check and
Obtaining a Log
If trouble occurs while the unit is operating, the followings
need to be checked with respect to the customers.
. Date and time when trouble occurred
. Operation of which the trouble occurred (index of
contents if possible)
. The firmware version and serial number of the unit
(NSP-1)
. The firmware version and serial number of the manage-
ment software BZNP-D1
Also, the logs of the unit and management software BZNP-
D1 need to be obtained.

1-11-1. Version/Serial Number Check

NSP-1
1. Refer to Section 1-8, and display the status page.
2. Check the serial number and service number (firmware
version) of the status page.
BZNP-D1
1. Start up the BZNP-D1.
2. Select "Help (H) → Version information (A)" from the
menu bar in the main window to display the version
information window.
3. Check the version and serial number in the version
information window.

1-11-2. Obtain the Log

NSP-1
1. Refer to Section 1-8, and display the Advanced
Settings window.
2. Click on the [Download] button of the "System Log".
3. Save the log file (syslogMMDD.tar.gz) of the NSP-1.

The log file "MMDD" describes the download month
(MM)/day (DD).
BZNP-D1
1. Select "Start → Programs (P) → NSP-1 Management
→ Log compression" on the desktop to start up the log
compression software.
2. Click on the [Compression] button in the compres-
sion software window.
3. Log file (BznpD1Log.lzh) of BZNP-D1 is created on
the desktop.
