REFRESH
The AC power adapter features a REFRESH function that
allows you to fully discharge the battery pack before
recharging. Perform the REFRESH function after no less
than 5 chargings.
To discharge the battery ...
... attach the battery pack to the adapter as shown in the
illustration on page 6. Then push REFRESH. The
REFRESH lamp lights when discharging starts, and
goes out when discharging is complete.
During Use . . .
● The AC power adapter is specifically designed to
charge the battery pack BN-V10U/V11U/V12U/V20U/
V22U/V25U/V400U.
● When charging a brand new battery pack, or one that
has been in storage for an extended period, the CHG.
lamp may not come on. In this case, remove the battery
pack, then reattach and try charging again.
● Perform the REFRESH function after no less than 5
chargings.
● Vibration noise can sometimes be heard coming from
the inside of the AC power adapter. This is normal.
● The AC power adapter processes electricity internally,
and will become warm during use. This is normal. Make
sure to use the AC power adapter in well-ventilated
areas only.
● If the battery operation time remains extremely short
even after having been fully charged, the battery is worn
out and needs to be replaced. Please purchase a new
one.
