NOTE:
Tackling short and high uneven ground with the machine may result in its
damage.
Application of 4-wheeled carts with wide tires as standard enables reducing rake's pressure onto
the ground, which is particularly important on unsolid ground, e.g. turf meadows. Smaller uneven
grounds (e.g. stones) are leveled by remote, tandem wheels of the cart (Fig. 34).

5.11. Lifting rake on headland

When driving back and through already formed rows lift the rake up to transport position. Perform
the following:
turn on single-side controller for lifting until the machine is fully lifted.
drive back or drive over formed rows.
turn on single-side controller for lowering until the machine is fully lowered.
set controller in neutral position.
NOTE:
Owing to in-line design of the machine it is forbidden to take sharp turns with
lifted rotors. Too sharp a turn may cause fall or damage to the machine. The
risk is reasoned by Fig. 35.
