Fig. 29. Position of rear rotor in operating position with single windrow option
dismount double-action cylinder of rear rotor, so that rotor is turned leftwards,
❑
drive the tractor until rear rotor is maximally left turned,
❑
if need be, adjust the rear rotor position in order to obtain optimum overlapping of rear and front
❑
rotor (Z) depending on type of raked material. Overlapping (Z) should be set in such way that there
is no material left on the ground in between the rotors.
5.8.2. Double windrow option
lower rear swath guard by pulling down,
❑
Fig. 30. Position of rear rotor in operating position with double windrow option
take rear rotor guard out from transport holder and mount in operating holder retracting it for proper
❑
distance,
lock it with front rotor cotter,
❑
retract cylinder of the rear rotor maximally, so that rotor is turned rightwards,
❑
drive the tractor until rear rotor is maximally right turned,
❑
set rear 3-point linkage links on such height H so that front ground following wheel is on the ground
❑
while on front tiller cylinder there is clearance which enables ground following function for front
rotor,
if need be (with constant hitch height in the tractor), adjust the clearance with knob P.
