BreezeACCESS II CX
Extending Your Reach
The BreezeACCESS CX Cell Extender, designed to re-distribute broadband coverage from a primary wireless
base station while also serving as a local subscriber, can connect users who were previously unreachable due
to obstructions such as foliage or hills. This eliminates the need to deploy costly new backhauls and base
stations to connect lucrative pockets of subscribers, significantly improving the economics of wireless
broadband deployments.
The CX uses a two-piece intermediate frequency (IF) architecture with both components designed to
be installed completely outdoors. This design permits a high degree of installation flexibility and
eliminates the need for expensive runs of large LMR or Heliax cables. The CX accommodates all
antennas currently certified with BreezeACCESS II.
Configured as a local subscriber that also creates a microcell connection to customers who are
not within the base station's line of site, the CX can be deployed in minutes, usually without
requiring a re-occurring site lease. This unique feature set enables cost efficient access to more
revenue per base station.
Using the same firmware and antenna choices as the rest of the industry-leading BreezeACCESS II
family of wireless broadband products, the CX Cell integrates into existing BreezeACCESS II
infrastructure.
Product Highlights
The BreezeACCESS CX Cell Extender incorporates the features of a mini base
station, backhaul and subscriber unit into an integrated, easy-to-deploy
package. Featuring:
