QuizManager control bar

The QuizManager control bar lets you quickly access the main
functions of QuizManager—it contains the same commands as the
Communications menu. A status message across the top of the
control bar lets you know how many (if any) AlphaSmart devices are
currently connected to an AlphaHub or to your computer by direct
USB.
A row of numbered indicators identifies each connected AlphaSmart
device. These indicators are
• Black if no AlphaSmart devices are connected, or if the connected
AlphaSmart device has a version of AlphaWord prior to 1.4
installed.
Additionally, some older AlphaSmart 3000s may display black
indicators even though they are connected. If this appears to be
the case with your devices, be sure to power on those devices
before connecting them to the AlphaHub.
• Yellow if the AlphaSmart device does not have AlphaQuiz
SmartApplet installed.
• Red if the AlphaSmart device is not communicating properly
through the AlphaHub.
