The simplest form of the CAT statement:
CAT
lists the contents of the current working directory because no directory is specifically
identified. If no directory name is shown in the directory header, the current working
directory is the root.
If you wanted to list the contents of
CHARLIE,
but your current working directory was not
CHARLIE,
you could:
• Designate
CHARLIE
as the working directory with the MSI statement, then use the
CAT statement's "short form." For example:
MSI IIPROJECTS/Proj ect_one/CHARLIE: REMOTE II
(for an SRM disc)
or
MSI IIPROJECTS/Proj ect_one/CHARLIE: .700

(for an HFS disc)
