of the Grillin an Chillin GC 50
whole hog rotisserie.
A well maintained rotisserie will provide you
with years of reliable operation and Bar-b-Que
pleasure.
Please read the manual completely before using
your new rotisserie for the first time.

SAFETY:

WARNING:
The GC50 operates at a high torque and has rotating parts that are designed to be used outdoors. It
will be operated near a large fire and good safety practices are required at all times.
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD:
The GC50 should be run on a switchable surge protector to make quick shutdown possible.
Always use a properly grounded cord rated for outdoor use.
Make sure your power cord is kept away from any heat or water source, including rain.
FIRE / BURN HAZARD:
Use a properly prepared pit for rotisserie cooking (Many good examples can be found online).
Make sure the fire does not come in direct contact with the motor at any time.
Never leave the fire unattended while using this product.
Take care not to wear loose clothing near the rotating parts of the rotisserie.
Allow the motor to cool after operation, as it will be hot to the touch.
TIP HAZARD:
Do not exceed the 50lb recommended load of this product.
Always use this product on level ground and away from busy traffic areas, children and pets.
Make sure you follow the assembly instruction when mounting your motor and meat.
CLEANING AND HEALTH:
Always clean your rotisserie completely before initial use or after storing for an extended time.
Lightly coat the shaft and bearings with vegetable oil before storing for an extended time.
The bearings are packed with food safe grease.

  • Page 3 ASSEMBLY: If you are using the spit fork pair, slide one on the spit half and secure it using the attached hex screws. The other will be slid on after inserting the meat. Slide the spit coupler into the end of the one spit half. Line up the hole in the coupler with the hole in the spit and secure using one M8x40 screw and wing nut.
