44 Installation checklist
Safety
DANGER
High voltage!
Obey the instructions in chapter
or damage to the equipment can occur.
Before starting to work on the drive, make sure:
•
that the main and auxiliary power supply to the drive is switched off, locked out, and
tagged out.
•
that bypass - drive is in non-operating state and after de-energizing.
•
that safety ground connections are in place for both input and output terminals of
converter.
•
that personal protective equipment is provided and used when required.
•
that everyone involved is informed.
Before energizing the drive, make sure:
•
that all foreign objects are removed from the drive.
•
that all internal and external covers are securely fastened and all doors are closed,
locked and / or bolted.
•
that the release dials of safety switches are in the locked position.
