MAINTENANCE
3. Clean the filter oil with compressed air
and refit.
4. Reassemble the drain plug.
5. Fill fresh engine oil as specified in this
manual.
6. Repeat the last two steps of oil level check.

Oil recommended :

SAE 20W40/TVS TRU4 Premium Engine oil

REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS

TVS Rockz is fitted with triple rated, 3 step
adjustable, mono tube inverted gas filled rear
shock absorbers to meet different road and
load conditions.
There are 3 notches for adjusting spring
rating. If the spring is adjusted to the
minimum notch, then the shock absorber will
be softer which is good for plain, smooth
roads and light loads.
If the spring is adjusted to maximum notch
position, then it will be stiffer which is good
for rough, bumpy roads and heavy loads.
Adjust the spring rating by shifting the
adjuster to the required notch according to
