2. Installation

Insert the two flared parts of the inlet
plate into the opening of the Drive unit
in the direction shown by arrow (a).
(5)
Push the two plastic fasteners in the direction shown by arrow (b) until they
make a clicking sound to secure the inlet plate.
Make sure that the plate is mounted properly.
(6)
Plug in the power connector. Turn ON the Drive unit.

Connecting Precautions
Before Connection
: Before connecting the connector, make sure that the pins are not bent.
Connecting with the pins bent may damage the connector and result in
malfunction of the robot system.
Connecting procedure
: Before performing any connecting procedure, turn OFF the Controller and
related equipment, and then pull out the power plug from the power source.
Performing any replacement procedure with the power ON is extremely
hazardous and may result in electric shock and/or malfunction of the robot
system.
Cable
: Be sure to connect the cables properly. Do not allow unnecessary strain on
the cables. (Do not put heavy objects on the cables. Do not bend or pull
the cables forcibly.) The unnecessary strain on the cables may result in
damage to the cables, disconnection, and/or contact failure.
