Season Pass Manager
Use the Season Pass Manager to create rules for how you want the TiVo service to
prioritize your repeating recordings. For example, say you have a Season Pass to ER and a
Season Pass to Dateline. What if ER happens to air at the same time as Dateline? The
DVR checks priorities in the Season Pass Manager to decide which program to record. If
the ER Season Pass has a higher priority, then ER is recorded and Dateline is not.
If you don't change priorities in the Season Pass Manager, repeating recordings are
usually prioritized by the order in which they were set up: the first has highest priority, and
so on. If a conflict arises when you try to schedule a repeating recording and you choose to
schedule all of its episodes, that repeating recording gets the highest priority.
To change the priority order:
1. Press the TiVo button to go to TiVo Central.
2. Press the DOWN arrow to highlight Pick Programs to Record, and then press
SELECT. The Pick Programs to Record screen appears.
3. Highlight "Season Pass Manager," and then press SELECT. The Season Pass Manager
screen appears.
4. Use the UP/DOWN arrows to highlight one of your repeating recordings.
5. Press RIGHT arrow to highlight the arrows to the right of the title.
6. Use the UP/DOWN arrows to move the selected title up or down in the list.
