2-6. Precautions

Request that the customer be present when the test run is
performed. At this time, explain the operating Instructions
and have the customer perform the actual steps.
Be sure to pass the manuals and warranty certificate to the
customer.
Check that the 230 – 240 V AC power is not connected to
the inter-unit control wiring connector terminal.
* If 230 – 240 V AC is accidentally applied, the indoor or
outdoor unit control PCB fuse will blow in order to protect
the PCB. Correct the wiring connections. Remove the short
connector connected to the OC side and reconnect to
the EMG side on the outdoor control PCB. Cut the JP002
out of the outdoor unit control PCB. Then disconnect the
2P connectors (OC) that are connected to the indoor unit
PCB, and replace them with 2P connectors (EMG).
If operation is still not possible after changing the brown
connectors, cut off the jumper (indoor unit) or the varistor
(indoor unit) on the PCB. (Be sure to turn the power OFF
before performing this work.)

Check that the 230 – 240 V AC power is not connected to
the inter-unit control wiring connector terminal.
* If 230 – 240 V AC is accidentally applied, the indoor unit
control PCB fuse will blow in order to protect the PCB.
In this case, make the wiring correctly. Then reconnect the
connector to pins 2 and 3 from pins 1 and 2 on the 3P DIP
pin (EMG).
If the operation is not activated even if the short circuit pin
is reconnected, cut the jumper on the indoor unit PCB.
(Be sure to turn the power OFF before performing this
work.)
