H. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
IMPORTANT: Improper radio communication equipment
and associated parts, and/or improper
installation of radio communication equip-
ment effects the machine's electronic parts,
causing involuntary movement of the ma-
chine.
Also, improper installation of electrical
equipment's may cause machine failure and/
or a fire on the machine.
Be sure to consult your authorized dealer
when installing a radio communication
equipment or additional electrical parts, or
when replacing electrical parts.
Never attempt to disassemble or modify the
electrical/electronic components. If replace-
ment or modification of such components is
required, contact your authorized dealer.
Batteries
WARNING: Battery gas can explode. Keep sparks and
flames away from batteries. Use a flashlight to check
the battery electrolyte level.
Do not continue to use or charge the battery when
electrolyte level is lower than specified. Explosion of
the battery may result.
Sulfuric acid in battery electrolyte is poisonous. It is
strong enough to burn skin, eat holes in clothing, and
cause blindness if splashed into the eyes.
Avoid hazard by:
1. Filling batteries in a well-ventilated area.
2. Wearing eye protection and rubber gloves.
3. Avoiding breathing fumes when electrolyte is add-
ed.
4. Avoiding spilling or dripping electrolyte.
5. Using proper booster battery starting procedures.
If you spill acid on yourself:
1. Flush your skin with water.
2. Apply baking soda or lime to help neutralize the
acid.
3. If splashed in eyes, flush with water for 10 to 15
minutes. Get medical attention immediately.
