Appendix 7
Adjusting exposure time and gain factor
The larger the values of 'Exposure' and 'Gain Factor,' the brighter the acquiring image becomes. Increase the "Gain Factor"
value when the 'Exposure' value cannot be increased. 'Gain' indicates the sensitivity of an image sensor. Increasing the value
can make an image brighter but the image quality becomes lower.

Adjust values of 'Exposure' and 'Gain Factor.'
Image filtering
'Image Filtering' performs filtering processing on an acquired image and adjusts the image for making it easy to be read.
It is recommended to use only when a code is very difficult to be read.
It is based on the conditions (such as lightening patterns including installation conditions and external lights) of reading codes
without 'Image Filtering' that are set by performing pre-assessment and test. 'Image Filtering' is taken into 'Read Setups.'
'Read Setups' is a function to switch set read parameter patterns internally. For details, refer to 'Appendix 1 Read Setups.'
