Motor Drive to Motor Drive

An RS-422 daisy chain cable is used to connect the downstream end of the QSMC motor con-
troller for one motor to the upstream end of the QSMC motor controller for the next motor in
the path. This cable is a standard pin-to-pin straight through cable with a 4-pin female M8
connector on one end and a 4-pin female M8 connector on the other end. One female M8 con-
nector plugs into the downstream communication port on the motor drive and the other M8
connector plugs into the upstream communication port on the next motor drive.
