Baking bread

Ingredients

For optimal baking results, please read the
following instructions:
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Remove the baking tin 8 from the appliance
before filling it with ingredients. If ingredients
get onto the heating coils, there is a risk of fire!
Never use quantities greater than those
specified. Never use more than 900 g flour or
900 g baking mix for baking. If overflowing
dough gets onto the heating coils, there is a
risk of fire!
All ingredients should be warmed to room tem-
perature to ensure optimal fermentation of the
yeast.
Stick as closely as possible to the specified
quantities of ingredients. Even slight deviations
can influence the baking result.
Always add the ingredients into the baking tin 8
in the specified sequence. As a rule, you should
add the liquids first, followed by sugar, salt and
flour and finally the yeast. The yeast should not
come into contact with liquids or salt.

NOTE
Some programmes start with a preheating
phase (see section "Programme sequence")
during which the kneading blades 7 do not
move. This is intentional and not a fault with
the appliance.
The lid 2 can be opened during the kneading
phase. However, do not open the lid 2 during
the rising or baking phase. The bread could
collapse in on itself.
You can check on the progress of the pro-
gramme sequence via the viewing window 1.
