Overview

For the products sold in European countries, the conformance to the EMC Directive, which is one of the European Directives,
has been a legal obligation since 1996.
In addition, conformance to the Low Voltage Directive, another European Directive, has also been a legal obligation since
1997.
Manufacturers, who recognize that their products comply with the EMC Directive and the Low Voltage Directive, must declare
that their products comply with the Directives and put a CE mark on the products.
