Long Hauler Pack Belt The lightweight Long Hauler Pack Belt is designed for you to wear when Ski-joring or running Canicross. Pack Belt Fitting To fit, start by releasing the leg straps (C) using the grey side release buckles (D) located on the front of the harness. Place the pack around your hips just below your waist, the pack’s main pocket should sit in the center of your lower back, and the red quick release strap (E) should be in front. Attach the waist buckle and then adjust the straps on either side of the buckle, pulling on the straps to make them tighter or release some of the strap to make it looser. Any extra webbing that remains after you have adjusted can be rolled up and secured using the red hook and loop material at the end of the webbing. With the waist adjusted, reach between your legs and grab the leg harness straps, attach them to the grey side release buckles (D). The leg straps can be tightened or loosened using the red slide buckles (A) located on the back of the pack. The pack with the legs straps attached should be used while ski-joring.

When participating in ski-joring or canicross using the belt, be sure that the quick release strap (E) in the front is locked in place with the cam lock. The lock should be all the way down. The quick-release strap, allows you to disconnect the belt from the towline immediately in case of emergency. This way, if you fail or fall, your dog won’t continue pulling you. Putting it all together Skijoring Start by placing the harness on your dog, adjust as necessary. Next place the Joring Belt Pack around your hips, making sure to secure and adjust the leg straps as necessary. Finally, thread the Tow Line webbing loop through the belt’s quick release strap ensuring that the quick release cam buckle is fully locked. Finally attached the tow line’s red carabiner to the dog’s harness and you’re off! Canicross Start by placing the harness on your dog, adjust as necessary. Next place the Joring Belt Pack around your hips, making sure to secure and adjust the leg straps as necessary or by removing them. Finally, thread the Tow Line webbing loop through the belt’s quick release strap ensuring that the quick release cam buckle is fully locked. Finally attached the tow line’s red carabiner to the dog’s harness and you’re off!
