INTRODUCTION

Congratulations on your purchase of the ZA200B mixer amplifier
from Phonic. The ZA200B offers users with an easy and flexible
solution to contractors and engineers alike to easily incorporate
a host of possible sources into two zones. Output connection is
varied, allowing both ¼" phone jack and screw-terminals to be
used, depending on the application. A USB playback module is on
to allow incorporation of MP3 or WAV files to the device.
Please take the time to read this manual thoroughly before use.
Inside you will find useful hints and safety tips to ensure the unit
is used correctly. Once read, please store in an easy-to-find place
so as to ensure you can find it at a later date.

• 100 Watt (RMS) of power at 4 ohms, 100V
• 3 microphone through combo jacks
• 2 line input channels with RCA in addition to 1/4" or 1/8" connectors
• Screw terminal and 1/4" TS output connectors
• System EQ with treble and bass controls
• 6-segment LED VU meter on output
• Alert chimes and 'announce' tone built-in
• Individual zone output select buttons
• Playback of MP3 or WAV files directly from USB flash drives
• Stereo RCA tape in / line out connectors
• 2 standard rack units high

GETTING STARTED

1. Before turning the power on, the Master output control should
be set to -∞.
2. Always turn the power off before connecting or disconnecting
cables.
3. Check the AC outlet to ensure it is of a suitable voltage before
connecting the AC plug of this device.
4. Do not obstruct the back panel due to the heat sink and air
vents needing ventilation.
5. Please ensure the distance between the back of the ZA200B
and the wall is over 1.5 feet to ensure the device gets the
ventilation which it needs.

USB PLAYBACK

1. Connect a USB flash drive with MP3 or WAV files to the USB
port on the ZA200B.
2. Wait a couple of seconds for the unit to initialize the drive.
3. Push the Play button to start playback of the files on the USB
drive.
4. Playback will start from the first file, where files are played in
alphanumerical order.
5. Use the AUX/USB volume control to adjust the level of signal
sent from the USB player.
5. Stop playback at any time by pushing the Stop / Menu button.
Please note that the maximum bitrate possible for playback of
tracks is 320kbit/second.
