To see a line of status information on the console (including the four-digit
chassis code):
1.
Set the Service/Normal switch on the CPU card to the Service position.
2. At the system console, enter
[Control)

to enter Access Port control mode.
3. Look on the bottom line of the display for status information.
HP-UX System Hang
Use the recovery procedure in Table 5-16 to resolve the problem.

Monitor Halts
A monitor halt can be caused by either software or hardware.
The console may not show a message describing the condition.
The sequence of hex codes begins with a "BxOO" to distinguish it from the Bx07 "system halt
7" characteristic of system abort sequences.
Use the recovery procedure in Table 5-17 to resolve the problem.
