Mounting Linear Encoders
Attach the linear encoder so that the forward direction of the Servomotor is the count-up direc-
tion of the linear encoder.
If wiring or other restrictions prevent using the same directions for the forward direction and
count-up direction, set parameter Pn080 to n.1 (phase-B lead and phase sequence of U,
V, W).
Important
The forward direction for the motor is toward the side where the cable is connected. (The for-
ward direction is the direction in which the Moving Coil moves when current flows in a phase
sequence of U, V, W.)

agree, the Servomotor may not operate or it may run out of control.
