    USER’S GUIDE contained in this manual must be strictly adhered to during installation and operation. It is especially important not to use the device near fluorescent lamps, radio transmitters or remote controls, portable or mobile radio frequency communications equipment. ! The device malfunction is possible when using it in the area of strong electromagnetic interference (EMC).

    USER’S GUIDE 6. THE FUNDAMENTAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS OF THE APEXLOCATOR For more accurate apexlocator measurement results, please, follow these rules: 1. Carefully isolate the studied tooth and working file from saliva. We recommend to use cofferdam, cotton swabs, saliva ejectors; 2.

    The accumulator should be charged in the following way: - Connect the cable for accumulator charging (6-fig.1) to the device “EndoEst-3D”. Insert the USB (B) cable plug to the «APEX/ CHARGE” socket (7-fig.2) on the device. Variant 1. Charging from the...
  • Page 17 ENDOEST-3D - Connect the open plug of the cable for the accumulator charging to the PC USB-port . Yellow light (8-fig.2) indicates that accumulator is being charged. When the accumulator is fully charged, indicator goes down (slight lightning is possible).
  • Page 18 USER’S GUIDE 7.3. Power saving function To increase time between the accumulator charging and to extend the device life time, the device has power saving function - automatic switch off in 40 minutes after the last time of device use at the absence of use.

Insert the working file into the root canal of the studied tooth in patient’s oral cavity in the following order: - the lip clip (5-fig.1) is placed on patient’s lip ; - the file clip (3– fig.1) is connected to the file’s metallic part inserted into the root canal of the studied tooth.

    USER’S GUIDE 7.9. Operating in the PULP mode 1. Switch on the device PULP mode (see p.7.5) 2. Place the electrodes in patient’s oral cavity, moistening the tip of EOD probe in physiological solution beforehand: - the passive electrode (lip clip (5-fig.1)) is placed on patient’s lip; - use active electrode (EOD probe (4 - fig.1)) to touch the dentin prepared surface of the studied tooth.

Remove the EOD probe from the studied tooth - When the repeated measurement is necessary, it is enough to touch the prepared dentin surface of the studied tooth with probe. Note: To have more accurate measurement results you should spray the studied tooth surface with cold water after each preparation stage before repeated examination.

    It is recommended to use ultrasound baths “UltraEst”, “UltraEst- FSM” or “UltraEst-M” manufactured by the “Geosoft Dent”. The belongings sterilization should be carried out directly before the first device use and after every patient to avoid cross infection.

The device disinfection should be carried out before the first use and after every patient to avoid cross infection. Disinfection must be carried out by chemical method of the device surface wiping with a napkin wetted in the ethanol and wrung according to the corresponding regulatory documents.

    ENDOEST-3D 14. WARRANTY 1. The manufacturer guarantees the device successful operation according to the technical specification requirements, technical conditions 9452-005-56755207-2002 when the user follows all the regulations, service and storage conditions. 2. Warranty period of the device use is 2 years since the day of sale, but not more than 2,5 years since the day of manufacturing (except p.3).
