Safety

This section provides you with important safety information regarding handling of
the appliance. Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.

Risks from electric current

DANGER
Danger to life due to electric current!
Danger to life on contact with live cables or
components!
Observe the following safety instructions to avoid risks
from electrical current:
Do not use the appliance if the power adapter, the
power cable or the plug connector are damaged.
On no account open the power adapter. There is a risk
of receiving an electric shock if live connections are
touched or the electrical and/or mechanical construc-
tion is changed.

Basic safety instructions

For safe handling of the appliance, follow the safety informa-
tion below:
Before use, check the appliance for visible external damage.
Do not use an appliance that has been damaged or dropped.
To avoid possible risks, arrange for damaged cables or
connectors to be replaced by an authorised specialist or the
Customer Service department.
Do not operate the appliance outdoors.
Always keep doors and windows closed when operating the
appliance so that it can work effectively.
Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity of easily flam-
mable gases or materials, in the vicinity of naked flames or in
locations where oil or water can splash.
