2-2. Setup of Desktop PC

2-2-1. Required Tools

• DHCP server software (magkdhcp.zip)
• Inspection software (amea.exe)
• Desktop PC or notebook PC (Ethernet must be set.)
• Ethernet cross cable (or two Ethernet straight cables and a hub)
The OS must be Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT4.0.
∗ Set up the required software in advance.
· Execute [setup.exe] of [magkdhcp.zip] after unzipping.
· Place [amea.exe] with [mfc42.dll] in an appropriate directory.

2-2-2. Network Setting of Desktop PC

Right-click the Network Neighborhood icon on the desktop and select [Properties].
Enter the IP address [192.168.0.254] (confirm that the "Specify an IP address" option button is clicked) in the IP Address text box of the IP
Address tab.
Enter [255.255.255.0] in the Subnet Mask text box.
Click the [OK] button, close the TCP/IP Properties, then restart the desktop PC.
