Relay recording (CT-2050/KXF-W6010 only)
This function allow s to record sound continuously from deck
A to B.
Since this unit is not designed for recording w ith metal
(TYPE
) tapes, do not use metal tapes for recording.
Preparation

Relay recording

Set the relay recording mode.

Perform auto-bias adjustment. (The bias adjustment is applied to deck B.)

Adjust the recording level.
4
Start recording.
To cancel relay recording
Relay recording cannot be perform ed if the REV.M ODE key is set to " " " .

in both decks A and B. Select the record-
ing mode to set to "O" or "[" only.)

Play the music source.

Set the record-pause mode. (deck A).

Adjust the recording balance and record-
ing level.

Stop playing the music source.

Press the REC/ ARM (¶) key (of deck A).

Play the music source from the begin-
ning.
RELAY REC

: Keys and control used in the operations described on this page.
"AUTO BIAS" blinks.
÷ The optimum bias is set in about 40 seconds, after w hich the deck
enters the stop mode.
÷ Recording is possible even if the auto-bias adjustment operation is
omitted.
^
÷ Recording w ill start.
÷ Recording on deck B starts immediately after recording on deck A has
completed.
÷ Press the RELAY REC key again.

"RELAY" lights up.
After approximately
"AUTO BIAS" lightsup.
40 seconds
"RELAY" goes off.
