DVD
96kHz => 48kHz : Even in case of 96 kHz digital signal,
DVD w ill deliver 48 kHz signal out.
96kHz => 96kHz : In case of 96 kHz digital signal, DVD
w ill deliver 96 kHz signal out. In this
case your receiver should control 96
kHz signal.

Hierarchical structure of VCD menus

VCD
When an item is selected on the menu screen during playback of a P.B.C.-compatible VCD, another menu w ith more
details items may be displayed. When a number of menus are connected in multiple layers in this w ay, it is said that
the menus have a hierarchical structure. In this structure, the desired scene can be reached by repeating item
selections on the menu screens.
Example for a hierarchical structure
Advancing
When an item is selected on the menu screen w ith the 3 key
or the numeric keys, advance is made to the next low er
menu level. When the advance destination is the "scene" to
be played, the contents w ill be played.
÷ When several menus (scenes) can be selected in each level, screen
sw itching is possible w ith the keys ¢ (NEXT) and 4 (PREV.).
