Pump In Style
When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic
safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
DANGER: To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Always unplug electrical products immediately after using.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
5. Do not reach for a product if it has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire or injury to persons:
1. A product should never be left unattended when plugged into an electric outlet.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on or near children or invalids.
3. Use the product only for its intended use as described in these instructions. Do not use
attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly,
if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
6. Never use while sleeping or drowsy.
7. Do not use outdoors, or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where
oxygen is being administered.

The Pump In Style Battery Pack

The Pump In Style Battery Pack is intended for use with Pump In Style breastpumps (manufactured in January 2008 and later)
ONLY. Battery Pack uses 8 AA alkaline batteries, or, for more consistent pump performance, use rechargeable batteries.
Each will provide approximately 3 hours of pumping time. It is recommended that batteries be replaced or recharged between
the 10th and 12th pumping session.

Battery Insertion

Slide off the battery covers. Place the NEGATIVE (-) end of the battery against the front of the spring. Push
the battery in and down in one motion until the battery snaps into place. The POSITIVE (+) end of the battery
should be near the positive sign on the Battery Pack. NOTE: If the battery is inserted in the opposite direc-
tion, the Battery Pack may not function correctly. Four batteries must be inserted on each side of the Pack.
Replace the battery covers.

Battery Removal

Slide off the battery covers. Insert a BLUNT, NON-METALLIC tool into the removal slot on either side of the Battery Pack.
Gently pry the battery out. Replace the battery covers.
The Battery Pack was designed for safe use while stored in its pouch. The pouch fits inside the main bag or motor bag, along
with the transformer.
