ASSEMBLING THE HANDLEBARS Before you can operate the unit, you must adjust the handlebars. 1. When you unpack the unit, loosen the two knobs on the inside of the handlebars (Fig. 1). 2. With the unit upright, swing the handlebars up into the operating position. -

STARTING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: you are in the starting position when using the snow thrower. To avoid serious injury, the operator and unit must be in a stable position while starting. You must follow this sequence correctly to start the unit. 1. - Page 10 Discharge Direction Adjustment Snow may be discharged to the left, straight forward, or to the right of the operator. To change the direction, use the following instructions: 1. Release the bail to stop the rotor. 2. Firmly grasp the discharge directional control handle and pull it up.
