    The following hardware and software are required for operation of a Dahua HDCVI Encoder:  One of the HeiTel devices listed above, with up-to-date firmware  For video systems with older firmware versions a firmware update must be carried out first.

    The Dahua device is connected to the HeiTel device via IP connection.  The HeiTel device sends the data via per IP connection (and switch) to the CamControl LITE software, CamControl PRO software respectively. The CamControl LITE software is used for configuration and video evaluation and analysis.

    This chapter describes the configuration of the cameras connected to the Dahua device using the CamControl LITE software. Note: To each of the 10 camera channels available on the HeiTel device one camera connected to the Dahua device can be assigned to. Basic configuration Proceed as follows: Connect to the HeiTel device to which the Dahua device is connected.

    Moreover, such settings will result in problems with PTZ presets. The Dahua device stores its own Preset list for each of the cameras but the HeiTel device can only manage one Preset list per camera channel. The HeiTel transmitter will always use the Preset list of the Live stream (CamControl LITE) as reference. But this reference then always applies when calling up presets via: ...

    Integration of Dahua HDCVI Encoders HeiTel by Xtralis Check settings When having completed the setup of the individual cameras check the functioning. The main focus in this respect is to make sure that one camera channel always shows (or records) video of one and the same camera.

Alarm tone at the Dahua device (no HDD) Depending on the configuration, operating the Dahua Encoder without hard disk might result in a continuous alarm (alarm tone).
