The Coralife Turbo-Twist Ultraviolet Sterilizers are easy to set up and operate. Please read all instructions in their entirety before installation. The threaded cap won't budge i tried to unscrew it but it's on awfully tight. How do I get this off without breaking the unit?

To remove a tightly secured threaded cap from a Coralife Turbo-Twist Series unit without damaging it:
1. Turn off the power and disconnect the unit from the outlet.
2. Let the water drain from the unit and allow the lamp to cool if recently used.
3. Grip the plug and cord together and turn them along with the threaded cap to unscrew it. This helps avoid twisting the cord separately and reduces stress on the cap.
4. Ensure the flat O-ring gasket stays in place during removal.
Do not use tools that may crack or deform the cap. Handle gently to avoid damage.
