    Use a tuning meter, pitch pipe, tuning fork, piano, etc., and tune the open strings to the pitches shown below. • If the string’s pitch is high, loosen the string until the string’s pitch is slightly lower than the tuning pitch, then tune while raising the string’s pitch.

    The Silent Guitar operates either on battery power or with an AC adaptor however, it will consume more power when the reverb function is in use. For that reason, we recommend that it be powered with the supplied AC power adaptor for normal use. Always turn the PHONES ON/OFF switch OFF before making AC power connec- tions or replacing the battery.

    I Using the LINE OUT jack Use a standard phone plug cable to connect the Silent Guitar’s LINE OUT jack to the input jack on the guitar amplifier or powered speaker, etc. When the cable’s plug is inserted into the LINE OUT jack, power will be supplied to the Silent Guitar and the power lamp will light.

    I AUX IN jack • The AUX IN jack can be used to connect an external stereo signal source to the Silent Guitar. Connecting the audio output of a CD player, cassette player, etc. to the instrument allows you to play along with the external audio source.
