Product Overview

The Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5500 and C5500 II Series contain these
models (imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5560i/C5560i II, C5550i/C5550i II,
C5540i/C5540i II, and C5535i/C5535i II).
The "II" in the product name indicates that these machines are a part of the Third
Generation imageRUNNER ADVANCE 2nd Edition Platform. Third generation
machines that are not 2nd editions, and want the new features of UFP V3.7, must
be upgraded.
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5500 and C5500 II machines print in color and
B&W (Black-and-White), and bring the following capabilities to users in a
high-quality, middle-office environment:
• Prints in speeds of up to 60 ppm (pages-per-minute), 50 ppm, 40 ppm, or 35 ppm,
(LTR (Letter) size in both color and B&W), depending on the model purchased.
• Standard features, such as: PCL, PS, ULM (Universal Login Manager), Remote
Operator's Software Kit, Wireless LAN support, and HDD Encryption Kit.
• Single-pass, duplex, document feeder with two-sided B&W scanning speeds of
up to 150 ipm (images per minute), and two-sided color scanning speeds of up to
160 ipm (images per minute) at a scanning resolution of 600 dpi. The capacity of
the single-pass, duplex, document feeder is approximately 150 sheets (LTR).
• A 10.1" WSVGA, flat, control panel with flick and pinch action, similar to the
technology used on smartphones. The flat control panel tilts, and it also supports
video guidance for maintenance.
• Standard 250 GB hard disk drive, with an option to expand the machine's hard
disk drive to 1 TB.
• Finishing options, such as a staple or booklet finisher, and inner finisher are
available.
• A maximum paper size of 12" x 18" is supported. Multiple paper sources can hold
a maximum of 6,350 sheets of paper.
• True 1,200 x 1,200 dpi printing at the engine's rated speed.
• Standard USB 3.0 memory support from the USB port on the back of the
machine only. One USB port is located on the right side of the color image reader,
and can be used for scanning, printing, or direct printing from a USB memory
stick.
• With the Authentication System, advanced personalization is available for each
user. Users can customize their displays, settings, and functions.
