Reinstall the toner cartridge,

then lock the lever.
Close the front cover and the

side cover.The LCD displays
'NEW DRUM?1.YES 2.NO'.
Select 'YES'. The FaxCentre
Ø
returns to Standby mode.
If the drum cartridge is
replaced and the 'NEW
DRUM?1.YES 2.NO'
message is not displayed,
replace the drum cartridge as
described above, then take
the following steps to reset the
drum counter:
Press [Menu/Exit] and then

repeatedly until '9.
MAINTENANCE' appears on
the display, then press
[Enter].
Press the

Ø
navigation keys repeatedly
until 'NEW DRUM' is
displayed on the lower line,
then press [Enter].
Press the

Ø
navigation keys to display
'YES' then press [Enter].
NOTE: If you do not reset the
counter, 'Drum Warning' may
appear before the new drum
reaches it's maximum life.
