The Line Selection key allows you to select the line you want the
WorkCentre to use when performing the current communication. The
Line Selection can also be designated when setting Speed Dial or
One Touch numbers for a remote party that requires this selection
every time. (Refer to Chapter 2, "Setting up the Phonebook".)
To manually select the line for the current job:
1. Load the document face down in the Document Tray.
2. If desired, select the Resolution and Contrast .
3. Press:

4. Select the line to be used for this job:
To select either line, press
To select Line 1, press
To select Line 2, press
Note: You may select another option for this job. Refer to the
selected option for the procedure.
5. Using one of the dialing methods, enter the fax number and press
Enter .
The document is scanned and sent using the line you selected.
