3.1 Pre-start through 3.6 Local Control Test in this chapter
conclude the procedures for applying power to the
adjustable frequency drive, basic programming, setup, and
functional testing.

3.7 System Start-up

The procedure in this section requires user-wiring and
application programming to be completed. is intended to
help with this task. Other aids to application setup are
listed in . The following procedure is recommended after
application setup by the user is completed.
CAUTION
MOTOR START!
Ensure that the motor, system and any attached
equipment is ready for start. It is the responsibility of the
user to ensure safe operation under any condition. Failure
to do so could result in personal injury or equipment
damage.
1.
Press [Auto].
2.
Ensure that external control functions are
properly wired to the adjustable frequency drive
and all programming completed.
3.
Apply an external run command.
4.
Adjust the speed reference throughout the speed
range.
5.
Remove the external run command.
6.
Note any problems.
