Step 2 – Start-up
Turn on the device. Android OS is starting up. The first time you power on the device, a
welcome screen appears. Follow the prompts on the screen as the setup wizard asks you
to:
• Set the default language to English
• Set up the Wi-Fi network connections
• Personalize (name) the device
• Set up security and privacy options
Step 3 – Set up the barcode scanner
Go to Settings, then Scanning. Select Internal scanner, then Default profile
Data Processing Settings
Suffix property will add a default value to the end of scanned barcode after each scan.
Normally, when you scan a barcode, you need to manually press enter on keypad in
order to add the scanned tracking number to the list.
Add carriage return ("\n") as suffix as shown below.
