PROPER DISPOSAL OF A WATER DISPENSER CFC DISPOSAL of your old water dispenser unit. Your Whynter Water Dispenser does not utilize CFCs. Your old water dispenser may contain a cooling system that used CFC’s (chlorofluorocarbons). CFC’s are believed to harm stratospheric ozone. If you are throwing away your old dispenser, make sure the CFC refrigerant is removed for proper disposal by a qualified service person.
