    IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Use Proper Flame Size—Adjust flame size so it does not extend beyond the edge of the utensil. The use of undersized utensils will expose a portion of the burner flame to direct contact and may result in ignition of clothing. Proper relationship of utensil to flame will also improve efficiency.

    Liquefied Petroleum (Propane) Gas Conversion Severe shock or damage to the cooktop may occur if the cooktop is not installed by a qualified installer or electrician. This appliance can be used with Natural Gas and Propane Gas. It is shipped from the factory for use with natural gas. If you wish to convert your cooktop for use with Liquefied Petroleum (propane) gas, see the information in the installation instructions.

    Setting Surface Controls Do not place plastic items such as salt and pepper shakers, spoon holders or plastic wrappings on top of the range when it is in use. These items could melt or ignite. Potholders, towels or wood spoons could catch fire if placed too close to a flame.
