Remove a Power Supply Unit
Although an array can operate with only one working power supply unit, you should replace the failed
unit as soon as possible. For proper array cooling, do not remove a failed power supply unit until you
are ready to replace it.
How to Remove a Power Supply
Wear electrostatic protection when handling a power supply and cooling module. See
Protection on page
6.
To remove a power supply:
1. Turn off the power switch on the power supply.
2. Disengage the hook-and-loop fastener from around the power cable.
3. Remove the power cable.
4. With your right hand, hold the handle and push the orange release latch (callout 1 in
the right with your thumb.
5. Pull the module from the slot, as shown in
Caution:
The PSU is heavy. Support it with two hands.
