Changing
your compactor3
color
Behind the color panel on the front of your compactor's
drawer is another color.
There may also be one or two extra panels, depending
on the model you have.
The panels have a different color on each side, so you can have a choice of two
to six colors for the front. The Consumer
Buy Guide label lists the color choices.
To change the color of your compactor's
front panel, follow the directions
below.
All you need is a medium-srzed
screwdriver
l
Slide out drawer until it
stops.
l
Lift front to clear stops.
l
Pull straight
out.
l
Remove two screws
shown.
l
Remove handle.
l
Remove the color panel
you want.
l
Be careful -edges
may be
sharp.
l
Install desired color panel
in front, behind drawer trim.
l
Reinstall
the remaining
color panels between
cardboard
spacers.
l
Make sure panels are all
the way down.
l
Replace handle and screws.
Option:
Match your
kitchen's
color scheme by
replacing
color panels with
your own creation
(wall-
paper, panelling).
