EVELING AND DOOR ALIGNMENT If the refrigerator is not leveled during installation, the doors may not close or seal properly, causing cooling, frost, or moisture problems. It is very important for the refrigerator to be level in order to function properly. Move the refrigerator into its final position.

Leveling and door alignment (cont.) To level your refrigerator, you may either turn the screw clockwise to raise that side of the refrigerator or turn the screw counterclockwise to lower that side. Place a level on top of the refrigerator to check adjust- ments.
SING EFRIGERATOR To obtain the best possible results from your refrigerator, it is important that you operate it properly. This section tells you how to set the controls, remove and adjust the features in your refrigerator, and how to save energy. ETTING THE CONTROL The control for the refrigerator and freezer is in the refrigerator.
Setting the control (cont.) IMPORTANT: If you add food before the refrigerator has cooled completely, your food may spoil. Turning the Control to a higher than recommended setting will not cool the compartments any faster. NSURING PROPER AIR CIRCULATION In order to ensure proper tempera- tures, you need to permit air flow between the two sections.
EMOVING THE MEAT DRAWER AND COVER (on some models) To remove the meat drawer: Slide meat drawer out to the stop. Lift front of meat drawer with one hand while supporting bottom of drawer with other hand. Slide drawer out the rest of the way. Replace in reverse order.
DJUSTING THE REFRIGERATOR SHELVES Adjust the refrigerator shelves to match the way you use your refrigerator. To remove the shelves: Remove items from the shelf. Slide shelf straight out to the stop. Lift back of shelf over stop. Slide shelf out the rest of the way. To replace the shelves: Slide back of shelf into shelf track in wall of cabinet.
Removing the crispers and crisper cover (cont.) To remove the cover: Lift cover front and remove the cover support. Lift cover up and slide out. To replace the cover: Fit cover tabs into lowest cabinet slots and push in. Lower the front retainers into place.
SING THE OPTIONAL AUTOMATIC ICE MAKER Before you turn the ice maker on, be sure that it is attached to a water supply. Refer to the “Attaching the optional ice maker to a water supply” section. • The ON/OFF lever is a wire signal arm.
