- Page 6 4. Forward/Reverse Rotation (1) Forward Rotation : Turn the FWD/REV Change Ring to“F”as shown in Fig.4. (2) Reverse Rotation : Turn the FWD/REV Change Ring to“R”as shown in Fig.5. (3) When the FWD/REV Change Ring is positioned at the middle of“F”and“R”, the drive air is interrupted and the motor does not rotate.

- Page 8 6. Sterilization The LS-22K motor is autoclavable. Sterilization is required the first time you use and after each patient as noted below. ○ Autoclaving Procedure : 1) Wipe off dirt with alcohol-soaked cloth. 2) Lubricate the motor. Use spray. 3) Insert in a sterilizing pouch and seal it. 4) Autoclavable up to a max.
- Page 9 Caution Do not autoclave the motor, even when it is bagged, together with other instruments, from which chemicals are not sufficiently cleaned. This is to avoid discoloration and/or damage to the plating of the motor.
