2. WARNINGS IN THIS MANUAL
2.1 "NOTICE" Indication
This device may lose important files depending on the type of failure. Files
may also be lost due to factors other than device failure, including misuse or
power outages during use. In such cases, these files cannot be recovered. To
protect against such situations, incorporate file saving into daily operation,
and back up files regularly.
The recovery DVD contains an image file created from the factory-set
hardware configuration. As such, if the hardware configuration differs from
the factory settings, the operating system may not run normally even when
restoration is performed. For restoration using the recovery DVD, remove all
external memory devices, and then use the factory-set hardware
configuration.
Likewise, since using the recovery DVD will delete all data on the system
drive, perform backup beforehand as necessary.
