Configuring MV420 / MV440
This chapter shows the settings for communication with the PLC and an example
of creating programs for reading 1D and 2D codes.
Communication parameter settings
1. In the "Connections" > "Interfaces" applet, make sure that "IP mode" is set to
"Manual". If necessary, change the setting.
2. Make sure that the value in "Baud rate" matches the settings from HW Config.
If necessary, change the baud rate.
3. Go to the "Integration" applet.
4. Changing the settings restarts the MV440.
5. In the "Connections" > "Integration" applet, check the connection settings for
"Source", "String", "Result" and "Control". For these values, "ASM" must be
selected from the drop-down menu. If necessary, change these settings.
