5.2

System reactions on SINAMICS alarms

The errors and states detected by the individual components of the drive system
are indicated by alarms.
These alarms are categorized into faults and warnings.
General information on faults (alarms)
The following happens when a fault occurs:
• The appropriate fault action is triggered.
• Status signal ZSW1.3 is set.
• The fault is entered in the fault buffer.
Clearing of a fault:
• Clear the cause of the fault
• Acknowledge the fault
General information on warnings (alarms)
The following happens when a warning occurs:
• Status signal ZSW1.7 is set.
• The warning is entered in the warning buffer.
Clearing of a warning:
• Warnings are self-acknowledging, i.e. if the cause has been removed, the
warnings reset themselves automatically.
"Reaction" to faults (alarms)
The standard fault reaction specifies the reaction in the event of a fault.
