Surface burners
To remove the cooktop, follow the
instructions in "Removable cooktop"
below.
Wipe off surface burners with warm,
soapy water and a sponge after each
use. Use a plastic scrubbing pad for
cooked-on food.
Occasionally check the burner flames
for proper size and shape as shown
below. A good flame is blue in color. If
flames lift off ports, are yellow, or are
noisy when turned off, you may need to
clean the burners (see "Cleaning tips"
on page 21) or call a qualified techni-
cian for adjustment.

Remove surface burner grates and
reflector pans.
Lii front of cooktop enough to clear
front of range. Grasp both sides of
the cooktop, lift and pull forward to
remove.
